Vita Dental strives to provide our patients with a personalized, comfortable, hassle-free experience while delivering unparalleled dental care. Part of making your experience easier is knowing what to expect.

You will first be asked to fill out new patient forms, if you have not already. Please bring a photo ID and insurance card(s), if applicable. For your convenience, new patient forms can be found here, completed in advance, and presented to the receptionist when you arrive.

After you are escorted from the waiting room, we will take a full series of radiographs to look for cavities and issues that may not otherwise be visible. If you are pregnant or unable to have X-rays taken, please be sure to let us know.

We have a variety of amenities available to make your dental visit more comfortable. I-pods, head-phones, blankets and sunglasses (to shield sensitive eyes from the overhead light) are all on hand for you to use.

If you are visiting us for a cleaning, you will receive a comprehensive oral evaluation including a periodontal (gum disease) screening and an oral cancer examination.

Depending on the reason for your visit, you will then have a thorough cleaning* done by one of our gentle, highly-qualified hygienists or have your dental issue treated by Dr. Jordan or Dr. Shaftel. Either way, you will be receiving competent, compassionate care using the best and latest in dental technol-ogy and treatment options.

The final step of your visit will be meeting with our front desk team. Here, you will have the option of conveniently scheduling any follow-up appointments, if applicable.


We accept most insurance plans. We also accept payment from most PPO and indemnity plans. Please call our office to make an appointment and we will answer any questions you may have.

Payment Options

We accept all major credit cards, ATM cards, cash, and personal checks. For our patients’ convenience we have arranged a payment plan through a third party, which helps our patients receive their treatment in a timely manner.

*While every attempt is made to complete your cleaning during your initial appointment, on rare occasions a follow-up appointment may be necessary. As part of our commitment to excellence and our sincere dedication your oral health and well-being, if your cleaning requires more time than that which has been allotted, we may have you return so that we may do a complete and thorough job.
