Vita Dental is proud to be part of the vibrant Cincinnati community. As such, community engagement is one of the foundations of our practice. Vita Dental regularly seeks ways to be involved and to give back.

Vita Community Day

Held once a year, Vita Community Day provides services free of charge to those members of the community who might otherwise not be able to afford dental care. To date, Vita Community Day has provided over $85,000 worth of free services to tri-state residents. Dental Mission Trips

Drs. Shaftel and Jordan not only have a passion for helping people in need in the United States but have also made multiple trips to impoverished areas of the Dominican Republic. They, along with 18 colleagues from around the world, volunteer at a local clinic to provide extractions, sinus surgeries, bone grafting, implants, and jaw surgeries to people who do not have access to care. These patients often travel for days, lining up before sunrise to receive necessary care to address serious dentofacial conditions.

Canned Food Drives

During the holiday season, Vita Dental collects non-perishable food items and sells raffle tickets for the chance to win exciting prizes including Sonicare toothbrushes and teeth whitening treatments. All proceeds go to the Freestore Foodbank, serving the hungry in the Cincinnati community. Angel Run

Vita Dental is proud to sponsor and participate in Sophie’s Angel Run, a local charity providing funding for the research of pediatric cancer as well as scholarships for local students.

St. Xavier High School

Drs. Shaftel and Jordan are excited to announce they have been selected as Team Dentists for St. Xavier High School Athletics! Vita Dental was proud to fabricate custom mouthguards for The Bombers football team to wear during their 2014 season. Vita Dental wishes all of St. Xavier’s athletic teams the best of luck this year…Go Bombers!

Mission Trip Donations
